Why sync to Notion?
MawNote excels at fast capture: drop content into LINE and it starts organizing for you. Notion excels at deep organization: databases, boards, project pages. They're not alternatives — they're complementary. Keep the capture layer at the lowest-friction entry point, and keep the organization layer in the workspace you already know.
One thing to note first: this is a one-way sync from MawNote → Notion (referred to in the product as "multi-database sync"). Changes you make in Notion — editing titles, moving blocks, deleting pages — will not sync back to MawNote or affect your original data there.
What is "seven-database sync"?
"Seven databases" refers to up to seven types of data that MawNote can map into Notion: notes, to-dos, expenses, bookmarks, schedules, locations, and contacts. Once your content is classified, it automatically syncs into your designated Notion structure, eliminating copy-paste work. Setup steps
- Check your plan: Free accounts can sync Notes; Pro unlocks more databases including notes, to-dos, and expenses; Ultra covers the full seven-database range (verify in your Member Center for current details).
- Open the integration: In MawNote settings, find the Notion integration and begin the connection flow.
- Authorize: Follow the on-screen prompts to authorize MawNote to access your Notion workspace. (Using a dedicated page or section is recommended for easier management.)
- Select databases: Map the databases you want to sync and confirm the fields and categories match your workflow.
- Done: New notes that meet the sync conditions will automatically appear in Notion going forward. (Actual sync delay and rules are subject to the product interface.)
Common questions
Sync is delayed? Network conditions and Notion API availability can affect speed. It usually completes within a short time. Data format issues? If fields are incompatible, adjust your Notion database columns or redo the field mapping on the Notion side. How do I disconnect? Remove the authorization in MawNote settings, and also check the connected integration status on the Notion side.
